Mind’s Treasure is a mental health organization dedicated to helping individuals unlock their inner strengths and achieve emotional well-being through counselling, workshops, and support groups.

Our approach combines science, empathy, and creativity, symbolized by our jewel-themed philosophy, to help you uncover your hidden strengths and achieve holistic well-being.

Our services cater to individuals, couples, families, children, and mental health practitioners seeking supervision. Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, relationship issues, or professional growth, we have something for everyone.

Booking a session is easy! You can schedule an appointment by calling us, filling out a contact form on our website, or emailing us directly. We will work with you to find a convenient time for your session.

The first session is focused on understanding your concerns and goals. It’s an opportunity to share your story in a safe and supportive environment while collaboratively designing a plan to address your needs.

Yes, therapy sessions are confidential. Everything discussed in your sessions is private and protected by law, with a few exceptions such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Your therapist will go over the details of confidentiality with you at the beginning of your therapy.

Therapists and psychologists do not prescribe medications. If you need medication as part of your treatment, your therapist can refer you to a psychiatrist or your primary care doctor who can evaluate and prescribe medication if necessary.

We understand that life can be unpredictable. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If a session is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a fee may apply.

This policy is standard in the field and reflects the fact that, in addition to the time spent providing services, the therapist is reserving a time slot that cannot be offered to another client on short notice. It also accounts for the preparation and energy invested by the therapist in the cancelled session.

While your therapist is there to support you, they may not be available for 24/7 emergency response. If you’re experiencing a crisis, it’s important to contact a helpline, reach out to a trusted person, or visit an emergency room. Your therapist can provide guidance on how to access emergency support if needed.

If there’s anything we haven’t covered, feel free to reach out—we’re here to answer any questions you may have.
