Family Counselling

Families are where we first learn to love, communicate, and relate—but even the closest families can face emotional roadblocks, misunderstandings, and conflict. At Mind’s Treasure, our Family Counselling service is designed to support families in building stronger, more respectful, and emotionally connected relationships.
Whether your family is navigating communication issues, generational conflicts, behavioral challenges, parenting stress, or transitions like separation, grief, or relocation—therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
Led by Ms. Husena Dhariwala, an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist with over six years of experience, our family therapy sessions create a safe, structured environment for each member to express their thoughts and emotions openly. We work collaboratively to understand the root of concerns, improve interaction patterns, and strengthen the emotional fabric of the family unit.
Common concerns we address in family counselling include:
Frequent conflicts or emotional disconnect
Parenting challenges and child behavioral issues
Sibling rivalry and adolescent-parent struggles
Coping with divorce, separation, or loss
Family stress related to academics, finances, or illness
Bridging gaps between generations and expectations
We recognize that each family is unique in its values, roles, and history. Our approach respects cultural sensitivities while helping families adopt healthier communication styles, empathy-building strategies, and conflict-resolution skills.
Family therapy is not about placing blame—it’s about understanding one another better and co-creating a more supportive home environment. When one person in a family is hurting, the whole system feels it. Healing together allows the entire family to grow.
At Mind’s Treasure, we help families reconnect, rebuild trust, and find new ways to support one another—with warmth, skill, and care.
